Coconut Wax Candle FAQ

Do coconut wax candles smell like coconut?
Not at all. Even though coconut wax is produced from coconut oil, the smell is naturally removed when it is processed into a wax. All you'll smell are the fragrances and essential oils that are added to the wax.

What makes a coconut wax candle non-toxic?
Non-toxic candles like ours made from plant-based waxes and are free of questionable ingredients like lead and phthalates. They also produce very little black smoke, or none. In addition, our candles contain no ingredients listed on the CA Prop 65 list.

Are our coconut wax candles safe to use around pets?
Generally, candles using natural waxes like coconut wax, soy wax, and beeswax are considered non-toxic to pets. Cotton or wooden wicks are also preferable. While certain essential oils are known for being toxic to pets, this is a concern when using essential oils in diffusers or applying topically. The amount of essential oil that gets distributed in the air from burning a candle is very low. It is safe burning our candles with a pet in the room, as long as you keep your lit candles within your sight and away from your pet’s reach.
